First Day of School

We're using the My Father's World curriculum. Today was Mathias' first day.

The first ten days are like a review then on the eleventh day we start a 26 week curriculum.

I wanted to begin the school year organized. Things function better when everything has a place. This is the layout to the schoolroom. 

The table also functions as a dry erase board.
The bins under the table are special "school" bins for Joaquin. So that when we do our school work he can feel included with his own activities more suitable for his age (2yrs). 

The wall is full of references for this kids. The big book case has our everyday supplies and the curriculum for this school year. The reading nook I build for the kids is behind the big book shelf & I added bean bags for comfort.
